What Could Be The Reason For Having Lower Abdominal Pressure?
I ve been having lower abdominal pressure the last few days like I need to have a bowel movement and it takes a lot to try and its always just pebble like and only happens a few times a day which is not a usual thing for me. Could I be pregnant? My husband and I have been trying but I took a test and it was negative but I think it would be too early to tell.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history of having lower abdominal pressure for the last few days, like need to have bowel movement and it take a lot to try, pebble like just a few times a day, wants to know whether could be pregnant... All the history that you have mentioned looks to be due to impacted fecoliths in the colon and rectum hence causing all the symptoms. I would advise you the following: Sitz bath. Laxatives to soften the stool and to avoid constipation. X-ray of the abdomen and if the fecoliths are impacted, you need to take saline and soap enema. Avoid the foods and beverages that cause constipation and take only those foods and beverages that facilitates passage of stool. IF the problem persists, you may need colonoscopy and CT scan if something more is expected.
