What Could Be The Reason For Having Itching In Ear, Stuffy Nostril And Throat Soreness?

Hi. I think I have year round allergies. My symptoms are constant itch in right ear, right nostril stuffy plus post nasal drip, and right side of throat soreness. It happens on and off all year round especially when Im working in the hospital. Suggestions?

Hello,
Thank you for posting us on HCM.
I have read your symptoms which are in favor upper respiratory tract infection. you are probably having chronic allergic infection.
I would advise you
1. You should under go Prick test to identify the allergen which is sensitive to
you. then you can take Immunotherapy for that. I have seen excellent results
in my Patients.
2. Oral Antihistaminics
3. Rexidine mouth gargal
4. TAb Mast cell stabilizers
5. Lab investigation like Absolute Eosinophill Count (AEC).
