Hello,

Reddish brown staining on our lower legs is often caused by problems with the veins on our lower legs. This is known as varicose veins. I suggest using compression stockings and maintain the legs elevated. If the symptoms continue, you should see an angiologist for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
