What could be the reason for back and left leg pain ?

Today i was sitting on my floor putting papers into a binder. when i went to stand up my back was killing. when i stood up i could barly walk. i went to sit down and it killed moving hurts walking couging. when i lay down it still hurts , also i have pain in my left leg till about my knee . its really killing me , i tried leg rises i could barly do it.

Thank you for choosing health care magic. Based on the information what you have provided your condition sounds like disc herniation with nerve impingement. Take pain killers and bed rest for now and see a neuro physician or orthopedician at the earliest. MRI lumbarspine is the best test to find out the reason for pain and based upon the results physician advise you the best treatment modality.
