What Could Be The Painless Mass On Neck?

I have a hard painless mass on my neck since april. Found it after a severe sinus infection in april. Had a ct scan 3 weeks ago and they said I have a sinus infection. No symptons of any thing except the mass on neck. I feel fine except for a few sweating episodes but they do not happen regularly. Took a zpak as prescribed but lump is still there. I am starting to get worried.

Hi, dear.
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You may have some cervical lymphnode enlargement due to reactive lymphoid hyperplasia. Or you may have tuberculosis or lymphoma. You should go for fine needle aspiration cytology to know the exact cause of that. Then you should take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
