What Could Be The Numb Lump On My Scalp?

I've had a lump on my scalp for about 6mos. Yesterday it started feeling numb/tingly and the feeling went2 my ear and cheek. I had an ultrasound which showed there was no mass, but I can FEEL the lump. It is flat & about the size of an egg. What could this be?

Hi,
From history it seems that there might be having Lipoma or Sebaceous cyst giving this problem.
Consult surgeon and get examined.
