my husband has been sick for about 3 months now and unable to go to work. His symptoms include: weakness ,at times he complaints about chest tightness., coughing diaphoretic.. his mean concern is he feels overly fatigued eventhough he rest the whole time. Done most bloodwork but it came out all negative. He had gone to a stress test apparently after few minutes they stop him due to his bloodpressure increasing he had his flu shot about 2 weeks ago but it didnt help him the more he felt the flu like symptoms. He remains at home resting since November 7 '2013. he had tonsilitis Jan 28 and was given anti biotics (amoxcicillin) but develop hives (allergy) so we had it stopped. my sister has been telling me about a friend of hers that has the same symptoms until they apparently sent his his bloodworks to be check in UK and turned out that my sisters friend was diagnosed of having a mad sow disease.
Thanks for writing to health care magic. I can understand your concern.
There could be several causes for such problem. Most important could be a cardiac related condition which should be investigated completely. A ECG, x ray chest, stress test etc are required and if there is any thing suggestive he should be investigated further. If every thing is normal other causes should be thought of which may include a reflux or stress etc. Please get your husband investigated after a complete physical examination.
