I have pain on left side of my throat..where you take your pulse. I have noticed it off and on for several months...it has gotten more frequent and slightly stronger. It almost seems like it s in a gland because it seems to go in a very short line (if that makes any sense).
It could be a sore throat or pharyngitis. As first-line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. Start a short course of antibiotics. Do warm saline gargles. If symptoms persist better to consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
