What Could Be The Cause For Creepy Lips, Metallic Taste In Tongue And Swollen Lips?

The inside of my mouth, especially my lips feels sort of crepey, irritated, crinkly, like I ve been sucking on a salt lick. There s a slight metallic taste. A few days ago my upper lip swelled when eating a pasta dish I had eaten also the day before.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
hello and welcome to health care magic,

You seem to either have developed an allergic reaction or an acute reflux. You can try these:

-take an antihistamine like levocetrizine in consultation with your doctor
-take an antireflux like pantoprazole and also include a multivitamin like zincovit
-do salt water garle
-avoid spicy food and take lots of green leafy vegetables

If these do not help in a week or two then you must consult an ENT

Hope this helps
