What Could Be Causing Loss Of Sense Of Smell, Taste And Hearing Without Any Reason?

So, I have a lot messed up with me. and I was wondering if you had any explanation why. I do not have a sense of smell. I lost it in 7th grade (don t know how) and have never regained it. Probably because I have no smell, my sense of taste is different than most people (and I can not taste salt at all). I have terrible sight if I am not wearing glasses. and I have taken hearing tests, and some have stated that I should look into getting a hearing aid. I took hearing tests at my high school (I am 17) and I had to take it 5 times before I passed one. Also, I have an extremely high pain tolerance (I got hit by a hatchet, and almost lost a finger, and didn t even flinch. I dislocated and broke my pinky and just laughed. I don t feel anything if Peroxide is poured into my cuts, etc). and cold weather has no effect on me. (It is -10 where I live, feels like -35, and I walked outside in shorts and a t shirt and wasn t cold)... I got a CAT scan 1-2 years ago to see if I had a brain tumor, and it came up clean. So yeah, I don t know what it is up with me. Any thoughts?

HI. If the CAT Scan has come negative to find any organic cause , this can very well be congenital anomaly with the progressive degradation of the concerned nerves. Only a Neurophysician / Neurologist can help you to find what it is and whether this is treatable or not.
