What Does A Painful Lump On Breast Indicate?

i have a lump like formation which i noticed after i gave birth to my son ( two months) in my left breast i did show it to a doc who has prescribed evening primrose capsules my son is 6 months old now and iam breastfeeding him still the doctor has told for sonomamogram after 3 months and the doctor did mention that it is a fibrous adenoid upon physical examination.....now i am worried about my condition as the lump has become larger and is not painful to touch ....what should i do?

Hi welcome to HCM...

According to USG report you are saying having fibroadenoma like condition...

It is benign tumour of breast fibrous stroma ....
Here you can investigate with FNAC for confirmation of benign nature of tumour ...

During pregnancy under effect of hormone size of fibroadenoma can be increased ...

Local excision of tumour can be done if needed. ..

So after sonography and FNAC both report , treatment individualized ...

hello dear. From your details it can be either a fibroadenoma or a galactocele. You can get a sonomammogram done and rule out that.
