What Causes Yellowish Clot Discharge From Vagina While On Implanon?
Hello, the other day I passed a clear looking sac with a tiny black spot in it. I was told due to my arm implant it was just tissue, the bleeding stopped after some heavy bleeding. Soon after i bled again and lost blood clots, and got on what looked like a normal period. Well I just got back from a walk, and felt something slide out of me....it looked like a fleshy yellowish clot with some blood on it. What the hell is going on
Hello and welcome to HCM, Intra-uterine device can be followed by heavy bleeding and passage of blood clots. This is one of the side effects of intra-uterine device. A consultation with a gynecologist is required before staring any medication. Medication is available to control heavy bleeding after insertion of intra-uterine device. This side effect occurs for some duration after insertion of implant but disappears after some time. However, if the problem does not resolve away soon, it may be necessary to remove the device.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
