What Causes Yellowish Bruise Radiating From Elbow To Thumb After An Injury?
I fell Labor Day on my wrist on hardwood floor. Had an X-ray of front of wrist the following am. Results found no fracture but my arm from the outside of my elbow to thumb is very bruised and yellow. Could the X-ray have missed a torn tendon or something else???

Hi,
Such bruise is possible after a blunt injury causing subcutaneous blood leakage. You should use an ice bag for relief. In case of pain Ibuprofen over the counter can be taken followed by X-ray of the part & suitable advise by your treating doctor.
