What Causes Yellow Lumps At The Corner Of Lips?

Please help!!! I noticed these white/yellowish bumps on the corner of my lips about a year ago. I still have them to this day with no symptoms. No pain or anything. They do itch sometimes but very rarely. I also have small painless white bumps on my private area. I m a male and I also had the spots on my private area for years. No symptoms or pain on either my lips or private area. The spots on my private area are on the underside of my shaft and scrotom. Please help me figure out what these bumps are. I ve never had a sexual intercourse but I have shared drinks with my friends. I also asked my doctor what the bumps on the corner of my lips were and he said the are oil glands and if it were not supposed to be there then I would know.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain and presentation of symptoms and as per diagnosis of the doctor it seems that you have Fordyce's Spots which are raised Sebaceous Glands which are oil glands actually and can be seen on private parts as well..
You need not to worry as they are not any pathology and are harmless and their removal is only required for cosmetic purpose..
If you want to get them removed you need to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated and Carbon dioxide lazer or electrodesiccation can be done to remove the appearance of these glands..
In case of itching or signs of inflammation you can apply Clindamycin gel over them..
