General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, as there is recent history of systemic illness, I would quote this to be bacterial sinusitis or others with infestation via Staph aureus, epidermidis, Pseudomonas or others. In my clinic, after thorough clinical examination, I do suggest a culture swab report of microscopy to reveal the primary source of infection and treat accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
