I know this may seem odd - but more and more frequently - Especially when I am in the shower - and close my eyes - I see a bright yellow light - that gets so bright I have to open my eyes as it begins to hurt them. It looks to me like my iris - only bright then rightening yellow like the sun. I can see black in the center - It seems odd that I would see my own iris - as a bright yellow light - but I do. At times the things seem a little duller when I open my eyes. This eventually goes away. What would cause this? I am generally healthy 55 year old female.
