What Causes Yellow Coloured Urine In A Child While On Prednisone?
My 9 yr old daughter is on prednisone 60 mg daily. her albutest is has been negivate for 2 wks and she has been on prednisone for 3wks for nephoritic syndrome. Her urine has been cloudy for the last 4 days but her albutest is neg and the urine is yellow cloudy there is no burning or pain or discomfort with the urine

Regarding your child symptoms of yellow coloration with usage of prednisone for nephrotic syndrome I am strongly believing she has developed a hepatorenal syndrome
In view of this please do the following test
Liver function test
Serology test
Blood culture
Malaria parasite test
Renal function test
Meanwhile please see a paediatric specialist with the result and for further expect clinical assessment
