Recently I had an upper endo done and the doctor said I have a small yeast infection and need to be treated and prescribed Fluconzole 100 mg for about 10 days. Wondering How did I get yeast infection on my esophagus. No clue! Is it any food I eat or something else. Thanks
The yeast infection in the esophagus is usually related to the use of antibiotics. It can also be related to a low immunity system. I suggest to use the medications as prescribed by your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
