What Causes White Spots On The Head?

Hi,my baby is 7 months old.i found a white spots on his head about 2 months ago now it is increasing..what should i do.one more thing i had a fire accident in 2006 due to which some white spots left on my body.may this can be the reason..please help me..

Thanks for the query.
Some of the common cause of white spots or hypopigmentation are as follows-
fungal infection of the skin known as tinea versicolor, vitiligo, Alopecia Areata, Ringworm of the Scalp (Tinea Capitis).
For better diagnosis I need to see the photo.
Whether it is associated with loss of hair or not.
Treatment depends upon the cause.

Your post traumatic white spots should not be the reason as they are mostly non contagious.
