Hi there it has recently been very hot - and out of the norm i went for a run, did some yoga on the grass and did a heavy leg workout particularly on my hamstrings. I have discovered 2 very itchy red areas behind both knees and the bottom of my hamstrings. They are 2 inches in diameter with a tiny white spot, in the same place on each leg. At first i though it was down to sweat but they haven t gone away in 48 hours.. so am wondering what they could be and hot to treat them. They get very itchy in the evening after a day in a suit in the office. Thanks for your help!
The itchy white spots on legs with history of exposure to grass indicates sequel of allergic reaction to grass components most likely. The process physiology is mediated via IgE in the immune system and takes various stages till resolution. Primary guidelines for better recovery: - Local application of ice - Prescription of steroid cream containing Beclomethasone or else - Antihistamine as Diphenhydramine or Cetirizine - Control of blood sugar
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
