What Causes White Pustules On Face After Exercising?

When I exert myself for extended periods of time (exercise or landscaping work) my face flushes, feels prickly, and by the next day it is covered in small white pustules. Oral antibiotics clear it up within a day or two but I m concerned about taking them all the time. I ve been diagnosed with rosacea but this almost seems like heat rash. It is only on my face. I just want to be able to exercise without my face blowing up. Any thoughts?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

This can be related to rosacea and the blood flushing on face while exercising or in hot weather. Also sweating my cause irritation. You may need to wash them well with gentle soap after exercising. Don't use antibiotics that often. Visit a dermatologist.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
