What Causes White Patches On The Lips After Peeling The Dry Skin?

Hi Doctor, My lips got dried and I peeled of my lips i lose my lips natural colour and it turned into white patches...I applied vaseline but there is no results..how can I get back my natural lip colour and regrowth of my lip skin..

Hi.

It looks like dry and dead skin layer over the lip leading to white appearrence..

As you pealed off the top layer, it can take a few days for the lips to get the normal skin and its proper colour..

So my suggestion to you is that keep the best efforts to hydrate the lips.
You can keep applying Vaseline over the lips and can also apply Aloevera gel over the lips..

You should drink plenty of water..

You should avoid sucking or licking the lips as it further evaporates moisture from the lips..

Gently scrub the lips with oatmeal scrub..
