What Causes White Patches On Penis Shaft And Head?

Hello. I have white patches on the shaft of my penis and the head. They started to appear about 3 months ago and seem to be growing in size, at the same time the smaller patches are appearing. They are not itchy and are not painful. Do you have any idea what it could be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
I share your concern
Looking at your history this could be a sign of STI
If you can upload us a photograph, I will be able to guide you better
I would like to know about your age and history of exposure to unprotected intercourse?

I would advise you to consult a venerologist/dermatologist for examination and a battery of tests to confirm the diagnosis and treatment accordingly

Maintain good hygiene
Wash it with antiseptic solution and apply antibiotic ointment like soframycin or mupirocin to avoid superadded infection

Hope this answers your question
Best wishes
