What Causes White Patches On Back Of Throat?
Went to dr yesterday very sore throat checked...not strep...today feel like some in back of throat Husband looked have big white patches all over like lesions Taking cipro and and dexamethasone please advise....throat very sore reason for dr visit...also used an inhaler for wheeze he heard in chest Had Bronchitis one month ago...used z pack and got shot dexamethasone thanks, Connie

The patches can be due to a fungal infection specially candida, this is more common in people using steroids , please meet your ent doctor for confirming this and further treatment.
