What Causes White Patch On The Cheek With Dandruff?

I have got a semi white patch on my cheek, one doctor said it was due to dandruff and prescribed Dandruff medication other one FLUCONAZOLE 150 and Vitamins... Tried both for a week to no effect. And I have black hair, but part of my beard and mustache are turning golden. What should I do?

Hi.
As per your case history you are having pityriasis alba and seborrheic rash.
My treatment advice is -
1. Avoid sun exposure and use a good sunscreen lotion with spf more than 30.
2. Apply an emollient cream like Enmoist cream twice daily on affected skin.
3. Apply an antifungal lotion like clotrimazole lotion twice daily on scalp.
4. Other treatment options are oral vitamin A, fluconazole taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
