Hi Dear,
Welcome to Health Care Magic Team.
Understanding your concern.
White painful lump on the side of your tongue is probably due to enlargement of your papillae of tongue i.e fungi-form papillae which is a very normal condition and tongue become rough and very painful and causes difficulty in food swallowing and chewing. If its occurring continuously it could be recurrent apthous ulcers of mouth,
burning mouth syndrome,
oral candidiasis, lie bumps(inflammation).
Stress is the main cause of all this.
Need not to worry much about it. Best treatment is avoidance of oily, spicy food.
Gargles with warm saline water.
Use of mint leaves, chewing gums best.
Use Multivitamins rich in
vitamin B12. Antibiotics will subside infection.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Best wishes,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
