What Causes White Lump At The Beginning Of Ear Canal?
I have a white lump at the beginning of my ear canal. It hurt to touch and my ear is very sensitive. I have been taking pictures and it looks very strange. I tried to pop it but of course it was to painful for me to do much. What is in my ear? Is it a sist? Do I have to go to a doctor?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.
As per your complain a white lump at the beginning of the ear canal seems to be most probably a hair follicle infection leading to a painful pus filled lump on the mucosa of ear canal..
I would suggest you to consult an ENT expert and get evaluated and he can advise you to put antibiotic ear drops and if it is superficial that it can be touhed you can also be advised cool compresses over it.. Analgesic ear drops can also be advised.. You can be given a course of antibiotics and painkillers to be taken orally for faster relief..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
