What Causes White Line With Pressure On Tonsil With Blocked Nose And Occasional Pain In The Temple?

hi, i have what is best described as a white line or streak on my left tonsil. I have had pressure on the same side for weeks now. Also nose is quite often stopped up. At night when I turn I sometimes get sharp pain in temple area that lasts for a few seconds.

I have gone through your query regarding white line with pressure on tonsil and your nose is also blocked.

Your clinical history indicating that most probably your basic pathology is i nose and paranasal sinuses and that is giving rise to post nasal drip which is responsible for throat infection and tonsillitis. This tonsillitis is visible to you as a white line on left tonsil.

To confirm the diagnosis and treatment you should do-

1- C.T. scan of paranasal sinuses.

2- Culture and sensitivity of throat swab.

3- Blood- CBC, ESR, blood sugar-f & PP,

Inferences of above investigations and their clinical co-relation will establish the final diagnosis that may be manage accordingly.
