thanks for your query, the lesion on the palate could be a fungal infection like candidiasis or it can be lichen planus or frictional keratosis...consult your oral physician and get it diagnosed...i hope my answer will help you..take care
Hi. Welcome to Healthcaremagic. I read your query. White lesion in palate can be due to number of reasons. Since you dont smoke or chew tobacco, most common nicotinic stomatitis can be ruled out. Diagnosis require a thorough history and examination of lesion. It can be due to an ill fitting denture or restoration in that area, Candida infection, Lichen planus, Leukoplakia, Lichenoid reaction to some drug etc. For candida, antifungal ointment and rinse along with antifungal antibiotic works. Take A to Z one tablet per day. Maintain oral hygiene. Is there any burning, pain or change in shape or texture of the lesion? Visit an oral surgeon for check and get a biopsy done if required. Hope the answer helps you. Thank you!
