What Causes White Bump And Itching On The Arm?

Yes, I got itchy on my left arm just on the top side of my elbow closer to the middle of my upper arm at the bend so I scratched it and now see a hard white small bump and because I scratched it the skin around is red and I was wondering if it is a sign of cancer?

The most probable diagnosis of the condition based on the symptoms mentioned is Tinea versicolor which is a fungal infection. You can apply topical antifungal cream like clotrimazole over the affected area along with oral antifungals like fluconazole. Tinea versicolor is a benign condition and Is not related to cancer. However you must consult your dermatologist to confirm the diagnosis. Regards
