What Causes White And Dry Feeling At The Back Of Tongue?

The back of my tongue is kind of white and dry feeling, and I have been feeling this for a few days now, my mom suggest it is the Flonase that I have been taking as well as MusinexD for a inner Ear inflammation in the Eustachian tube. I also have had pressure at the back of my head and a sore painful neck that has nearly gone away. Also I have had feelings of vertigo/dizziness. I also have been taking 400Mg of ibuprofen 3-4 times a day for the past 4 days. Also to note my top wisdom teeth are coming in and my bottom ones just came in, what might you think all these symptoms could be?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns...

As per your complain the white coating over the back of your tongue seems to be due to fungal infection known as Oral Thrush and it might be due to intake of Flonase which is a steroid spray and steroids can cause oral thrush and for thrush anti-fungal mouthwash like Nystatin mouthwash, clotrimazole lozenges can help along with taking ample or probiotics like Yoghurt and garlic..
Other part of your question is dizziness and vertigo and itseems to be related to inner ear infection and antibiotics may be needed for it..
As you have wisdom teeth erupting and if they are erupting properly and not causing any discomfort like swollen gum flap around it then you need not to worry as these symptoms are related to ear infection and not wisdom tooth..
Consult your treating physician and get evaluated and for dry and white tongue he can advise you anti-fungal medicines as I explained above..
