I had deviated septum and sinus surgery four days ago and there is a big hole on either side of where my septum. I don't know if it goes through but when I take my bandage of and breath there is an annoying whistling sound. I called two days ago (Friday) to talk to my surgeons nurse and she said not to worry about it- it was probably just swelling that made it look like that. Here I am two days later and the swelling has gone down and there is definately a gaping hole in my nose and I am really upset. What should I do if they refuse to see me on Monday or refuse to fix it? Do I just need to be restitched to get the membrane over the hole?
