What Causes Wheezing And Severe Pain In The Chest?

Im Sheila, 22years Can knitting or crocheting cause chest pain?I started getting heavy chest pain in the center of my chest last night but I m not sure what could be it s cause I m just thinking over sitting when crocheting And I noticed recently that when I move my torso from side to side I get a wheezing sound that comes from my lungs I think . Could this be something to worry about

Hello. Thanks for asking on Healthcaremagic. A chest pain along with a wheezing sound indicates an allergic probably asthmatic reaction of the lung where the airways are constricted or narrowed down during expiration leading to such symptoms. In some cases patients might be allergic to wool and hence it could cause such symptoms in cases. It is always better to consult a chest specialist who will evaluate you on the basis of some breath tests and x rays accordingly. A chest pain might indicate a superadded infection.
