my 2 year old just started daycare a 3 weeks ago. She is accustomed to eating rice and sauce, spicy food, like we have in Guinea, West Africa. She is losing weight and her stomach is sticking out and her belly button has popped out. I think she might be adjusting to not having her food at daycare (they won t allow food to be brought in), and she is not very happy to be at daycare. She spent the first several days crying and now she seems like her heart is broken when I leave her. Please let me know if there s any concern and what I should do. Thank you.
