We are concerned about my father-in-law who is 84 years old, and his health seems to be diminishing somewhat quickly. He seems to be losing weight on naturally, very fatigued, unsteady, voice week , cognitive difficulties, slightly slurred speech from fatigue, no energy, loss of appetite. We are not trying to self diagnose him, but rather get a perspective on what could possibly be going wrong to persuade him of the urgency for him to go to the doctor. All of these symptoms seem to have manifested relatively quickly over the past few months, almost as if he is aging before our eyes over these past few months.
