What Causes Weight Gain In Winter?

every winter i put on weight, even though i do the same fitness regeme and eat the same during summer.



i have low-normal blood pressure

i have been diagnosed with compartment syndrome in my legs



do i have a form of hypovitaminosis? could i prevent weight gain next winter by solving this?

Hello and thanks for contacting HCM. Our metabolism slows down in the winter so we tend to gain weight then. To counteract this you must either eat less or exercise more in the winter. If you feel you are low on vitamins then taking a multivitamin could be helpful but this is not the cause of your weight gain. Good luck to you.
