What Causes Weight Gain Along With Fatigue And Irritability?

Hello, I am 37 year old male. over the past year i have experienced some weight gain as well as an increasing sense of fatigue and irritability. sometimes my fatigue is so severe it feels like i am running up stairs while simply walking around or completing simple tasks. my blood pressure when checked seems fine but to me it feels like my heart is pounding. I feel averse to my regular exercise routine given how difficult every day has become, which i am sure has added to my fatigue, weight gain and irritability. it feel like an endless cycle!

Hello! Thank you for writing. I will suggest you to do the thyroid test, free T4 and TSH. Irritability and weight gain, one of the main causes is hypothyroidism. Do you have other signs such as intolerance to cold, feeling tired? I wish you good health. Best regards.
