Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Within Normal Limits lab test means that the test results are within the normal range. To be sure you may do the following tests:
-Glycated hemoglobin test
-Oral glucose test tolerance.
If all the test results are normal, then your health is in good condition for now. It also means that you may low your weight, have a suitable diet and exercise regularly. You are predisposed to have diabetes as your father is with diabetes. To prevent it, have a healthy lifestyle.
All the best.
