What Causes Weight Gain Along With Constant Diarrhea And Skipped Heart Beat?

I have been gaining weight over the last few months 15 pounds (without changing anything) and I have constant diarrhea. I also feel my heart beat either skip a beat completely after everyday things like walkingup the stairs or getting into bed and laying down. Is this something I should be worried about?

Hi,welcome to HCM.
Rapid weight gain can be a sign underlying heart disease.A failing heart can cause peripheral water retention. This can lead to increase in weight.Associated cardiac findings in your case are palpitations in the form of skipped beats.I advice you to have a baseline EKG and a screening 2 dimensional ECHO.A routine complete urine examination will also help to find out the cause.Drugs like diuretics can help to loose out retained water.Diarrhoea can be controlled with drugs like loperamide.Consult your doctor for help.
Thank you
