What Causes Weight Gain After Gall Bladder Surgery?

Hi, I had my gall bladder taken out about 6 months ago. Lately I have started to rapidly gain weight (about 3 kilograms in a week). According to my fit bit I am eating fewer calories than I expel. Also, I have started to notice that my poo is black. I m not sure if this is relatated. Any idea of what is going on?
