What Causes Weakness While On Prednisone?

I have had arteritis for 11 yrs, with occlusion of the celiac artery, as well as the superior mesenteric. The arc of Riolan developed 3 yrs ago. Both axillary arteris have been affected and recently that has progressed to over 75% stenosis in both arms. Collateral vessels have developed. I have been to Mt. Sinai in Toronto and no positive suggestions. I do take 5mg of prednisone daily. I feel much weaker in the last few months. Any suggestions?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is the artery disease then it needs to be managed in that manner or accordingly, it is not mentioned here for what you have taken the prednisolone but it may not cause any weakness hope this information helps.
