What Causes Weakness In The Right Arm?

Hi, I have lost all strength in my right hand after a routine colonoscopy. Cannot turn a door handle or hit the button on my car key. Cannot open a hair clip.....I had a nurology test Friday and they don t know what caused this but want to give me Steriods. How bad are they for me (female 70 yrs) Thank you, susan

hi, any anasthesia given for this procedure or viggo insertion on right arm. it will be concerned if it has done. do doppler test for this problem. consult. thanks. regards.
