What Causes Weakness In Legs After Taking Flu Vaccine Shots On Legs?

Hi my 2 year old son recently received the 2nd round of flu vaccine. The shots were given to him on his legs now he is having a hard time standing and doesn't want to walk. I tried having him stand up and he seems weak I don't know if he is scared or sore or if there is something actually wrong is this a normal symptom? .

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

Some amount of pain can be there after a injection. But difficulty in walking is not normal. If he is having such a problem I suggest you to consult your doctor for a complete examination. Infections or nerve injury can also cause such a problem.

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
