What Causes Weakness In Arms And Calf Muscles After Having Colonoscopy?

I had a colonoscopy on Oct 22 with normal results. However a day later I developed weakness in my up arms and aching calf muscles, also have/ had some pain in wrist, thumb joints and general fatigue. I am on anti hypertensives Altace 5 x 2 per day with metoprolol25 x2 / day. Synthroid 50 of ,Statin in eve and Premarin 0.3 od . I am 68 years old and still working 8 shifts a month as an RN. Ecg,blood work, chest X-ray and stool sample normal, urine normal. I was in Kenya and Uganda for two weeks in Sept on A short term mission Took Melarone of for malaria. Any suggestions?

There is no relationship between Colonoscopy and weakness of arms and calf muscle. This is neither because of Melarone.
this is probably because of your strenuous work even at the age of 68.
Be glad that all the tests you have mentioned have turned out normal.
Try to avoid stressful work and i think you will be fine.
