What Causes Weakness And Muscle Tightness While On Magnesium Sulfate Treatment?
I was treated for post partum preclamea with magnesium sulfate and it did nothing for my blood pressure. Since then I still feel weak and my muscles are tight and sore. Could this be from the magnesium sulfate treatment? Come to find out my potassium was low.

The muscle issue could be due to low potassium levels that need to be replaced depending on how much is the deficit it can be replaced oral or iv when iv magnesium is given pottassium also goes up kindly recheck potassium after taking magnesium sulphate
