What Causes Weakness And Lack Of Energy?

We have recently moved to a mountainous area. Our home is at 2315 feet elevation. I have asthma but it is pretty controlled. Since the move I find I am breathless and weak after any exertion, even just taking out the trash. I m taking B12 and Iron. I would like to know what might be causing the weakness and lack of energy.

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hi,

It could be simply lack of oxygen to tissues as at such high areas the oxygen pressure is low. As you already have asthma It could be getting aggravated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshita, Ophthalmologist
