Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I ve been expirencing water discharge since yesterday and last month my period was 6 days early and brown discharge with clots that lasted for 5 days. I took 3 pregnancy tests 10 days after the discharge and they all came up negative. I ve also lost a lot of weight recently and been taking diet pills everyday for that month I lost the weight. Could I be pregnant or could this be happening from the rapid weight change?
Hello, Thank you for your query It is unlikely that you are pregnant. I suspect a hormonal imbalance due to sudden weight loss.
* how much weight did you lose in 1 month? *what was your weight earlier? What is your height? *do you have any other medical issues or take any medications? *have you been pregnant before? *are your periods otherwise regular?
Based on this we can arrive at a diagnosis. Please consult a physician regarding the adequate rate of weight loss. Too much too soon can result it metabolic disturbances and affect immunity.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with. Wish you good health
