I ve been having light periods for the last 3 moths. But this specific one was like a watery blood. I ve been on the implanon for 2 years now. N I will have to get it removed in October. I ve also had previous problems with ovarian cyst. Help? Could I be pregnant?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Thank you for using our service. I understand your concern and I have reviewed your question with detail. The implanon is 98% efficient as a birth control pill. Therefore there is only a 2% possibility of being pregnant. It's very unlikely for you to be pregnant because you're with the birth control pill. Wait and do a pregnancy test in two weeks to make sure that you are not pregnant. I hope I was helpful.
