What Causes Water Retention On The Leg?
Hello First off I would get Doppler venous flow studies of the leg to check for a deep venous thrombosus--a clot in a deep vein. If that was clear, I would get an MRI of the knee to look for a Baker s cyst in the posterior area of the knee. Then, if that wasn t the problem, I would get a lymphangiogram of the leg to look for lymphedema that could be causing the swellling. Ask your doctor for these studies
