What Causes Warm Sensation In Left Buttocks?

I have a warm sensation in my left buttocks it feels as though I m sitting on a heating pad it last for a few seconds and then it goes away but it s repeated throughout the day what s wrong with me? This has been going on for about 3 weeks. The sensation comes when I m sitting standing or walking. There s no pain just a warm sensation.
